There were several issues with prints arising from last nights competition, please read the requirements for each category before entering any competition.
Specifically –
1. Small Prints and I quote from the category instructions.
IMAGE MANIPULATION – Not allowed except for overall corrections to colour casts, exposure, contrast, and cropping.
IMAGE SIZE – No minimum size but the image must fit totally within an area of 310 sq cm (48 sq in)
MOUNT SIZE – No minimum size but the mount must fit totally within an area of 516 sq cm (80 sq in)
These rules are in place to ensure a fair playing field for all entries in a category specifically designed to encourage in camera composition without excessive manipulation from enhancement programs. Please be aware that the above will be strictly enforced from this point on.
2. Number of entries per category
There are only two entries allowed for each category (the categories being Colour Prints. Monochrome Prints, Small Prints and Projected Images) regardless of whether the subject is set or open, to clarify if the comp is classed as set and open you may enter images in only one of the following combinations.
1. Two entries in the set subject
2.Two entries in the open category
3. One entry in the set category and one entry in the open category
