Reminder – Online Scoring Closing Soon
Sharpen your photographic understandings by critically looking at club members’ photographs and giving them a score out of five. You can do this by logging into the club website and going to the latest competition, Elements, then Online Scoring and scrolling through the four categories, Colour Print, Small Print, Mons and Digital.
Online Scoring will be closing tomorrow night, 11:59 pm.
Once this closes we can publish the awards the judge has given for the competition.

2021 Photo Rally
Dear members,
Due to lockdown we have cancelled what we had planned for this year. So this year’s photo rally will be:
Still Life
Still life is a work of art that focuses on inanimate subjects. Usually, the subjects are commonplace objects. That can include both manmade objects (such as vases, items of clothing, and consumer products) and natural objects (like plants, food, rocks, and shells). This can also be for commercial purposes ie magazine, newspaper and general advertising shots.
Images must be taken between 20th July 2021 until the competition cut-off date of the 28th of August 2021.
A presentation has been created by Phil Weir and can be found on the Members Resources page.
BE CHALLENGED! DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT! THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX!
I look forward to seeing everyone’s photos Monday night 30th August.
Don’t forget the next competition is Open & Set-Macro.
Stay well.

Hi all
PLEASE RESPOND ASAP VIA EMAIL to president@phpc.org.au . THANKS

To proceed with this we require a minimum number of 30 people to attend (partners and family welcome). Please email me if you are committed to attending and how many are coming with you (please note payment will be upfront once we confirm that this event will go ahead).
- Cost: $45.00 per head – no refunds (if we get close to numbers the price may go up!
- Date: Monday 5th July 2021
- Time: 6.30 – 10.30 pm

Please respond to this email with your commitment to attend. If we don’t get enough people we will have to resort to a back up plan. Could you put in the Subject heading: Xmas in July
Thanks

Federation of Camera Clubs (FCC) ID Card
Hi all
In previous years the FCC has made a template available to
clubs to produce personal FCC identity cards for club
members. These were to identify the club photographers as
amateur, and not professional photographers. This helps to
avoid issues with council rangers or security personnel,
which can happen in places like Darling Harbour, around the
Sydney foreshore, and at some National Parks.
If you would like an FCC id card please let me know. We will only do one print run of these so let me know asap if you would like one.
Thanks
Nancy
