Monday Night 20th April 2020 at 7.30pm

Hi all members

I hope you and your family are all staying safe and well. It is certainly difficult and unusual times and I’m not sure where we will end up. Self isolation has some positives – we are doing lots of yard work that we have put off for so long, but it has its negatives – no toilet roll, pasta and flour in the supermarkets as everyone is hoarding and also the lack of contact with family and friends and of course our favourite photography group. I know I am missing out meeting nights.

This is how it will work:

  • Log into Zoom at 7.30pm – details below
  • Meeting to start at 7.45pm sharp
  • Greeting by President
  • View all photos by sharing Tony’s screen – Tony Strasser
    • The judge will not attend this zoom meeting but will judge the photos on MyPhotoClub after photos close – points awarded will go to points score as per usual and members will be notified of the results 1 week after the meeting.
    • After the meeting every member can log into MyPhotoClub and become a judge – we would like to use this a special activity for all members. This gives you, the photographer, an opportunity to experience critiquing other peoples photos, which in turn will help you to take better photos. These scores do not go towards the yearly point score.

Zoom meetings are they way to go in these unusual times and we hope to see every member attend this meeting and help make this a success.

I will send a Zoom reminder out a few days before. Please make sure that all your photos are uploaded onto MyPhotoClub by midnight Saturday 18th April.

Please keep an eye open for further communications regarding this meeting. If a trial zoom meeting beforehand will help members become familiar with zoom please let me know.

Kind regards and stay healthy

Nancy
