Comp 2001 – Open Any subject treated pictorially. A pictorial treatment is one embodying the elements of good design, arrangement of composition, and which reflects the personal interpretation of the photographer.
Underwater Photography with Kevin Deacon
Kevin Deacon is considered one of Australia’s most experienced, accomplished and highly published underwater photographers. His images have received international acclaim and have graced the pages of prestigious books and magazines through out the World during the past 25 years.
Kevin’s expertise and experience includes organizing and leading adventure dive and underwater photography / video tours to exotic locations throughout the world. As a keen naturalist he also enjoys introducing divers to the incredible biodiversity of the marine world. As an expedition leader Kevin has been responsible for many successful expeditions and photo shoots for other notable photographers & naturalists such as Jean Michel Cousteau & David Doubilet, National Geographic.
Comp 2002 – Set Only – Australian Landscapes A photograph of natural land or coastal scenery taken within Australia, which may include people, buildings or other objects, provided that these elements do not dominate the photograph. Seascapes with no land do not fit the topic.

Take the opportunity to do some street photography and/or architectural photography. There is plenty to photograph in central Parramatta.
Comp 2003 – Open & Set – Creative. Images displaying an original, inventive or striking effect created in camera and/or by an editing program. The image must show evidence of a photographic image taken by the entrant.
