Comp 02 – Set only – Australian Landscapes: A photograph of natural land or coastal scenery taken within Australia, which may include people, buildings or other objects, provided that these elements do not dominate the photograph. Seascapes with no land do not fit the topic.

Comp 2404 – Open and Set – Architecture. Images showing the design of buildings, bridges etc.
An image where all (or most dominant) lighting is behind the main subject.
Comp 2406 – Open & Set – Creative. An image created by any photographic process (camera, photogram, photomontage etc) that depicts a real scene or subject in a non-realistic way, or depicts a created or imagined scene or subject.
Comp 08: Open and Set – Machinery. An image of the whole or part of a machine that shows the beauty, functionality, history or value of the machine.
Comp 2409 – Open and Set – Still Life. A photograph of one or more inanimate objects that evokes a mood, communicates an emotion or has a commercial or symbolic message.
Comp 2407 – Set only – Special Trophy – People. An image that captures the identity, personality or essence of a person or persons using lighting, composition and posing.
Comp 2410 – Set Only – Photo Rally. Photos taken during or after the Rally Weekend
Comp 2411 – Set Only – Our Club– A photo taken at a Pennant Hills Photographic Club function during 2024. The best photos should bring back memories of the year and encourage new members to join.
