Welcome back to 2023!
Our first meeting for 2023 is Monday the 6th February at 7:45 pm in the Pennant Hills Uniting Church hall. The agenda includes:

Presentation and Workshop – Minimalism: Three ways to take minimalist images.
Presentation 04 –
Portrait, posing and lighting workshop
This Monday (5th June) will be a portrait, posing and lighting workshop for Club Members. Studio lights (softboxes, beauty dishes etc) and professional backdrops will be provided. Bring your camera and some props (such as hats, scarves and overcoats). You will have many opportunities to shoot different types of portraits (headshots, half-length and full length portraits). Each member will also take turns being a model for the other photographers. Phil Weir, who has extensive experience as a professional photographer, will give a short introduction to portrait lighting and posing; and “cheat sheets” of some classic poses for men and women will be provided.
As detailed on our last competition night we have a day out this Saturday the 1st of July, not Monday the 3rd as per the calendar (typo).
Meet at 10 AM Light Rail terminal at Central Station to catch the L1 Light Rail, get on / get off wherever you want to take photo’s, there is some good architecture at the Waratah Mills station and plenty of street scenes along the L1 line.
Meet at 12:30 to 1 PM for Lunch at the the Old Tram Sheds located at Glebe, grab some lunch and wander down to Jubilee Oval to eat, The tram sheds and the immediate area also offer great photography.
