Last Meeting for 2023 Images of the Year, Poster sized image & Christmas Party

Don’t forget next Monday night is the last meeting for 2023, bring some nibbles or drink, the church wont permit alcohol.

Reminder for those doing poster sized prints minimum size is 40.6 X 50.8, please hard back your prints as they are difficult to display and handle if unbaked.

Print & Projected Images Of The Year –

Just a reminder that all entries in the final competition for the year on the 4th of December Print & Projected Image of the Year MUST be as originally presented during this years competitions i.e. additional image manipulation is not permitted

This is a competition to determine the best images presented throughout the year.

2023 Interclub top 10 results

Well Done Pennant Hills best results we have ever had.

Nature Print 5th with 89 points 13 points behind 1st

Mono Print 7th 96 points 20 points behind 1st

Colour Print 6th 86 points 17 points behind 1st

Australian Landscapes 4th 83 points 13 points behind 1st

Drone equal 2nd 103 points 5 points behind 1st

I am unsure of our placing in Colour Digital / Nature Digital & Mono Digital, we place out of the yop ten in these categories

We also had one entry excluded because Maitland entered the same image from the same author however I am not sure which category it was in

Next Comp My Club

Just a reminder about the next comp “My Club”on the 20th of November

Photo’s must have been taken at one of the following club events and a photo previously entered this year which was awarded a top shot, Merit or Credit is not eligible for entry, it may be entered in the print and projected image of the year.

Hunter Valley week end / Sydney Uni outing / Central to Dulwich Hill outing / Photo Rally at Balmain / Blue Mountains week end and the Portrait and lighting workshop.

As required by the Associations Incorporation Act 2009 and the Constitution of the Pennant Hills Photographic Club Inc, please note the 2023 AGM will be held at:

7:45 pm, Monday 20 November 2023 at the Uniting Church Hall, Corner of Boundary Road and Bellamy Street, Pennant Hills.

The AGM will be followed by Competition 11 “Our Club”.
