Portrait Lighting and Posing Workshop

This Monday (4 July) will be a portrait lighting and posing workshop for Club Members. Studio lights (softboxes, beauty dishes etc) and professional backdrops will be provided. Bring your camera and some props (such as hats, scarves and overcoats). You will have many opportunities to shoot different types of portraits (headshots, half-length and full length portraits). Each member will also take turns being a model for the other photographers. Phil Weir, who has extensive experience as a professional photographer, will give a short introduction to portrait lighting and posing; and “cheat sheets” of some classic poses for men and women will be provided.
