Competition Points Tables Now Available
The Points Tables for MyPhotoClub Version 2 have just been made available and been configured for our competitions. To view them please go to the Competitions page via the Members grey button on the home page.
At the top of the points competitions, you will see a new narrow bar. To view the Points Tables, click on the blue button labelled “View Pointscores”.
A page showing the names of our points tables in the left pane should then be shown. Click on the table you wish to view and the table will show in the right pane.
Please check your totals to ensure the system is tallying the scores correctly and nothing has been missed. Members have been emailed the points for each competition entered this year. Please contact the undersigned if there is any issue.

Next Meeting’s Presentation
Peter Kenny
Mounting Photographic Prints
Our next meeting on Monday the 1st of April 2019 will feature a talk by Peter Kenny who is the proprietor of Framing Life and is an accomplished photographer in his own right. The topic is Mounting Photographic Prints. The emphasis will be on correctly mounting prints on framing mattes for our competitions, but Peter will cover the broader area of printing, mounting and framing photographic prints. He will bring samples, materials and equipment and show how these should be used. There will be plenty of time for Q&A as well.
Peter Kenny has more than 15 years’ experience working as a professional photographer and custom framer. His photography includes landscapes and local sports, capturing rugby, netball and dance teams in Gladesville and the surrounding suburbs.
We will all no doubt benefit from Peter’s expertise.
For further background on Peter see his business website http://framinglife.com.au
We will of course also have updates on the clubs future activities and competitions. We look forward to seeing you at the next meeting!

Reminder – Competition 1902 Closes at Midnight Tonight!
Unfortunately an automated reminder about the current competition closing tonight was not sent, so apologies for this late reminder (even though the Club Calendar has been published for some time).
Competition 1902 – Set only with the topic “Australian Landscapes” closes at midnight tonight (Saturday the 16th March 2019). We have numerous entries already, but not the usual number yet. So please do make sure you upload your entries today in good time to allow for recovery from things not going as planned (which happens rarely).
If you are having difficulty please contact the Competition Secretary at competition@phpc.org.au or 0408-406-519 and I’ll try to assist.

Final Reminder to Renew Membership
Thank you to the majority of PHPC members that have renewed their memberships of the club. There are however still a number of members who have not as yet paid the 2019 fees. If you are in that category, please renew as soon as possible by making the appropriate membership payment as follows:
Membership fees for 2019:
- Standard fee $90.00
- Senior $85.00 (Senior’s Card)
- Concession $80.00 (Pensioner)
- School Student $35.00 (Under 18)
Please remit your membership fee by bank transfer to the following account, and also include your name in the remarks so we know who the fee is from.
Pennant Hills Photographic Club BSB: 032 087 Account: 731071
Competition points will not be credited to members until they are financial. As we are charged per member for use of the MyPhotoClub website, we will assume those members not renewing by the end of March have resigned from the club and their access to the PHPC website will be revoked.
If you are unsure of your membership status or wish to discuss renewing membership please contact the President or any of the Committee.

Our MyPhotoClub Website Has Been Updated
As previously advised, the PHPC Website has been moved to Version 2 of the MyPhotoClub platform. The tutorial videos have been available for some time for you to familiarise yourself with the operation of the new website. All instructions pertaining to the previous website have been removed as they are no longer valid. The new website has a cleaner look and should be easy to operate.
All competitions for the year have now been set up and are available to enter. If you have a problem with these please contact the Competition Secretary. Publication of the results of Competition 1901 will occur shortly.
We welcome constructive feedback on the new site which can be directed to the webmaster@phpc.org.au.
